The members of Geomigration research team have decided on the results of the competition for the best thesis in the field of migration and integration. Four theses were submitted in the 8th annual competition. Awards were given as follows:
1st place:
Vojtěch Jochim: The Experiences of Migrants on the Balkan Route. Univerzita Palackého v Olomouci, Přírodovědecká fakulta
2nd place:
Luísa Monteiro Chaloub: International Migration Integration Policy: A Parallel Between Brazilian Initiatives and Its (In)Application in the European Context. Univerzita Karlova, Právnická fakulta
3rd (shared) place:
Ina Avramioti: Ukrainian refugee coordinators and setting the boundaries of their work. Charles University, Hussite Faculty of Theology
Tereza Brunerová: “Having my bag packed before I tell my parents”: an analysis of the lived experience of a selected group of LGBTQ migrants in the Czech Republic. Charles University, Faculty of Humanities
