Two publications about the future of migration from Ukraine, editors are members of our research team

September 30, 2016 - Two our publications were published which focused on research of Ukrainian migration during the crisis - In the book Ukrainian Migration in Times of Crisis: Forced and Labour Mobility (eds Dusan Drbohlav, Marta Jaroszewicz) are captured the impacts of deteriorating security as well as socio-economic situation in Ukraine, springing from the Russian annexation of the Crimea and the eruption of war in the eastern part of the country, migration from Ukraine to the European Union (EU), especially to Poland, Czech and Slovakia. The subject of the book is a situation of numerous groups affected by conflict, like internally displaced persons (IDPs). The publication further developed by other research questions regarding the various aspects related to the current migration and integration of Ukrainians at home and in the respective countries surveyed. The second publication Monitoring of Migration and Policy Changes Conducted in Ukraine, Poland, Czechia and Slovakia (September 2015 - June 2016), Dusan Drbohlav, Marta Jaroszewicz, Margaret Seidlová, Dita Čermáková (editors) presents the annual monitoring data on labor and forced migration from Ukraine including current reports and analyzes based on the actual countries surveyes.
